I've said it before and I'll say it again, Japan is one of my favorite places to snowboard. As an Island positioned right on the Pacific Ocean and available arctic air circulating from Russia, this tiny country produces some of the best quality snow and tons of it. On a recent trip to Niseko Japan I opened the curtain to our room and this scene just stopped me in my tracks. It's wasn't the deepest and craziest snowfall, but that little pillow that formed in the tree drew me in.
