Mt Baker is where I fell in love with snowboarding and the mountains. The energy, the people, the amount of snow, the list goes on and on of why this place is so special. I spent 5 years living and working right at the base of chair one at Baker, so I got to experience all sorts of early morning sunrises, and so much that most people don't get to see. When I started taking photos at Baker, a lot of photographers had shyed away from shooting there. "It's too snowy" they would always say. I would just slap some T-max black and white film into my film camera and hope for the best. Mt Baker taught me how to really work for shots, and that you can make an awesome photograph happen, even in the worst conditions.
