Mikey Swearingen is one of thus unsung heroes from the northwest. An absolute ripper on a skateboard and snowboard, his skill level and hilarity make him such an incredible human to hang out with. On this particular day we found this cliff in the Alpental backcountry and I knew it was going to be a banger. Mikey sent it a couple times before the full stomp. This was one of my favorite shots of that season but for some reason all the photo editors slept on it and it never got ran!
