Mark McMorris is a legend in the world of snowboarding. Countless slopestyle and big air podiums, Olympic medals, and video parts are only a handful of accolades that he has accrued over the past decade. What strikes me the most about Mark is the fact that he is so well-rounded in all aspects of his riding.

This photo was shot fairly early in his backcountry career. We built this pat-down jump and he was literally cannonballing to the bottom every time. On this particular hit, he sent a perfect frontside 720 tail to the bottom and then proceeded to try a double cork 1080 which he got in a handful of tries!
