This was a cornice hand drag that we found at the top of the resort in Japan while shooting The Fourth Phase. Mark Landvik is kind of the king of hand plants, even though you may just know him as a big mountain freestyle guy. I kind of felt bad on this one, because honestly it was only a photo feature. The video shots didn't turn out that cool, but I ended up getting the cover of SNOWBOARDER with this shot. The perspective of what is good for photos vs. video sometimes never translates for both. In a perfect world, we would get a cover shot and an ender video shot all at once.
