While filming for the Transworld movie "Get Real" I ventured out to the Pemberton backcountry with Eero Niemala and the legendary Gaetan Chanut. We were a small crew that day, and the boys found a nice jump in one of the back bowls. I was shooting from below for the first couple hits, and decided to get closer for a side angle shot. When I saw the shadow on the snow, I knew I could like things up for a compelling composition. Luckily Eero hit this jump several times, and it allowed me the opportunity to perfect this angle. Historically Eero usually got tricks in 1-3 tries, forcing myself to be really on it with the angles, so I was excited to get a couple more cracks at this one.
