CHRIS LARSON PLANT FLIP
We stumbled upon this feature, which was later coined the "Gnar Bucket" somewhere on the slopes of Snoqualmie. Burtner and Larson were in on the session, and it was one of those mellow spring days in the moutains where the weather is nice, and temps made for soft landings. In true Burtner fashion, he got right into one footing this thing, and then Larson started trying this flip plant thing. I'm pretty sure this was the first time he had attempted this trick, and he definitely landed on his chest several times, trying to figure out the motion. Once he had gotten some proper bails in, he went full commit and stomped this down, so clean. The shots ended up running as a sequence in Method Mag that following year.
